No doubt about it, this is a killer workout and highly effective. If you want to lose pounds this will do it. I do suggest lifting weights aside from just doing this video also.

What ruined the video was Jillian’s abrasive personality. I don’t enjoy people who pretend to be hard a**es while they don’t complete the workout themselves. She’s too busy posing for the camera and envoking her ‘tv personality’ instead of doing the workout. I find this totally annoying. I have watched other videos where the technique and form are properly explained and the instructor is actually performing the workout. She need to practice what she preaches. I still do the workout though, in order to balance my frustration with her and the positive effects of the workout, I just pretend to kick and punch her when the workout calls for kicks and punches. HA!

I only like circuit 5 so I do it three times. Too much jumping in the other circuits. The abs circuit was ok, nothing new. I would be happy if one of the circuit contained weight training. Over all I waste my money on this one.

Okay, so I think some of the raving reviews on here are kind of silly. It’s a workout DVD, so how good can it really be? I guess the answer depends on what you are really shopping for. I bought this because I wanted to have something to play on my laptop when I travel and want to workout. It’s great for early morning workouts to wake you up and get the heart rate pumping. I’m completely satisfied with this product for that reason, but if you are looking for something to really tone up, then you need to go running or go to a gym.

I received this dvd in a timely manner and started to use it. The company I used was excellent. Thank you.
