This isn't as good as the Lipo 6x. With this line, you need to take 3 pills. With Lipo 6x you only take 2. I like feeling uppity and jittery. This product does not compare to Lipo 6x.

I was looking for something thermogenic to boost my metabolism and give me a kick in the butt right before working out. I bought this on the recommendation of the dude at GNC, who meant well, but it would've been nice to be told, then, what I'm telling you now: this stuff is coffee in a pill.

The kick is only a tiny one (I drink a couple cups of coffee in the morning, so I'm not working with a pure system, here), and my workouts have actually decreased, though this could be due to calorie-restrictions). So this doesn't give the crazy "Gonna double my reps/ swim twice as long" boost you may be looking for. The first couple days I got a slight Aderol-type focus, but it was false, as my diminished workouts prove, I think. I am a lot more restless at night, and haven't lingered in bed in the mornings. I believe that is due to this product. I'm not jittery or distracted, just not tired in the least, so that may be beneficial for some applications, a night out dancing, maybe?

As a diuretic this stuff is effective, but that may be due to the extra water I'm drinking, cuz I'm back at the gym, and not the lipo 6. I've lost Not A Pound in the week I've been taking these (two at a time, not the max three---I'm drinking coffee, too---twice a day). I've modified my eating to the 6 mini-meals per day, geared towards helping my body metabolise faster. I believe I am smart enough, old enough (41) and have shed tons of winter couch-fat throughout my life, in a variety of methods, to be able to give this review: Lipo 6 is not worth buying. Period. A cup of coffee half an hour before working out does the deal much better.

I follow directions, so don't assume maybe I'm doing it wrong; and like I said I'm not a newb to the gym...maybe this would work for someone who doesn't exercise and has gallons of weight to lose. I can see this helping to remove water weight. But, even after putting on 40 winter pounds (I don't display it obviously. I just get denser, not more corpulent, so 40 pounds for me may not be 40 pounds for a person who's regularly 150 pounds. I'm generally 220, and that's healthy for me), this stuff doesn't even make me sweat extra. In fact, I feel as though I'm sweating LESS on the treadmill, and that's weird. I sweat like a pig! (I'm wiping less up off the machine afterwards) and I've started drinking extra water to help absorb this stuff, the other supplements (vits, fish oil, glucosamine, occasional bee pollen, nothing too major other than the glucosamine which needs lots extra water), and to further help shed fat. I'm also not one of those minimal body fat guys who wouldn't notice. I jiggle a bit here and there and you can't see anything approaching abs, though I'm not rolling with fat.

That's my review. I paid a bunch for the stuff, and it does initially give a slight buzz, and I figure maybe the first week back is ineffective, so I'm going to cycle through the whole bottle then modify this review as needed, so I'm not giving partial info. But based on experience, I'm willing to bet this stuff will result in zero benefit to my workouts, and won't be the reason for extreme (their language, not mine...it's on the bottle. Should've figured it out then.) weight-loss that I'm looking for (20-30 pounds of sedentary chub in a few months) nor does it provide me with the ephedrine pre-workout bump I wanted (heck, I've used a variety of tools to get the real extreme workouts. This doesn't even really register).

Will update in a couple weeks. Will use something else next time around.

UPDATE: After a month or so, I still have half the bottle. It hasn't grown on me, nor do I change my opinion. I will use three of these pills then hop in the pool, but they will keep you restless all night, though you can still sleep, but wake up a bunch. I've read that Yohimbe targets alpha receptors on fat cells to release fat in order to be metabolized, and this pill falls into that category. After several days use I feel a little trimmer, but don't know if it's the pills, the workouts (aided by the pills, admittedly, but no more than like a big cup o joe prior to workout), or the pills' suppression of appetite (a very real benefit). I can't say if I'm shedding fat faster than usual, but I understand the science behind the pill a bit better. I guess raise my opinion from one star to two. Two and a half, maybe.

this product works. In about 2 months I went from 188 to now, 163. I usually take 3 before my workout, you dont need to take 3 in the morning/ 3 later b/c they are just trying to make you use up the bottle quicker. Along with a good diet, this product will work wonders.

The effects of this product will vary from person to person, I've heard from some that it did wonders for and others it just made them feel sick. I've tried past Nutrex - Lipo 6 brands (6 and 6X), and this one has worked the best of the three for me. Lipo 6 standard gave me a noticeable boost, but made me kind of anxious and I did not notice any weight loss really. Lipo-6X was even worse and just made me feel nauseous and anxious, even at the minimum doses.

I'm normally too tired from waking up early and working all day that by the time I get home I just crash and go to sleep because I have no energy to do anything else. But with Lipo-6 Black it gives me just enough of a boost to where I don't just want to go right to sleep when I get home, so I can get some exercising done. It's a very very subtle boost, not a noticeable jolt that will make your heart rate go off the charts just by taking it or anything. It also doesn't make me feel nauseous at all - even at the maximum recommended dosage, something I can't say about the past two Lipo6 products. After two months I've about gotten rid of the fat I had around my lower abdomen/lovehandles area that I had developed during the last winter food/beer season , so it seemingly works. But I've also been running/exercizing daily and eating pretty decently though, you can't just take it and sit all day eating mcdonalds and expect it to have the same effects.

I'll stick with this as my remedy for the yearly holiday weight gain in the future.
