This is a great bike for the price. There are a couple of cheap black plastic pieces but other than that it is well made heavy duty bike. It is not silent, it does make some noise not alot but some. The spring that holds the tension cable near the wheel was scraping the wheel (horrible noise) when I first got on it but I pushed it away from the wheel with my finger and now it is fine. Easy assembly. Its heavy! almost 90lb (teamlift!). The magnets are glued to a plate – gobs of unsightly glue. This doesnt look good but it works I guess. It is not the best of quality in the world but for $260, you cannot beat this price. I would say this indoor bike is worth it if your on a budget.

Received the bike prompltly and was able to set it up without too much difficulty. Maybe the problem is that I am an experienced spinner and expected a workout that was comparable to what I could get at the gym. At it’s most difficult setting, the resistance was about a 5 on a scale from 1-10. The only way I could work up a sweat was constantly sprinting, which you can’t keep up indefinetly. Also, even at it’s highest seat setting, it was at least 3 inches to short for my (34 inch inseam) legs. I know I’m tall, but not freakishly so. The only person I know personally who would get anything out of this bike is my husband’s 79 year old grandma recovering from a broken hip.
